"ON AIR"

In this blog I´m not trying to give more information about things related to the internet, his governance, his tools...etc, since I know there are thousands of people who already have written about it. In this blog, I just would like to give my point of view about the development and changes that our society has experienced with the arrival of new technolgies and relate it to other other topics (music, news, movies...).

"Step by step, please!"

In the first article of the declaration of principles of WSIS, which is an international event organized by the International Teleommunications Union (ITU) and focused on the study of the social aspects that affect the communication society the representatives declared “our common desire and commitment to build a people-centred, inclusive and development-oriented Information Society, where everyone can create, access, utilize and share information and knowledge, enabling individuals, communities and peoples to achieve their full potential in promoting their sustainable development and improving their quality of life, premised on the purposes and principles of the Charter of the United Nations and respecting fully and upholding the Universal Declaration of Human Rights”.

And I wonder....How can they be thinking on spreading the use of the internet around the world in order to improve their "quality of life" if in many countries of Africa and Asia almost all the human rights are violated?

These undeveloped countries have not even access to common water but developed countries want to bring them the internet....

But why do I wonder these kind of questions if this has always been like that?

Europe destroyed all these countries with colonization and then left them alone and forget them, and now and even thought the human rights are still violated and hungry is the first cause of mortality we want to bring them the internet and insert them in the era of communication.....come on, let´s solve our faults step by step!!
